Dana M. Allen is an Army veteran, having served in both the United States Army and the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.  Dana retired as a decorated Judge Advocate General Warrant Officer in 2017 after 20 years of service.  Her military law specialty has allowed her to become knowledgeable in many aspects of the discipline including contract and fiscal law.   Her career includes several mobilizations for both peace and wartime operations, including Operations Joint Forge, Iraqi Freedom, and Iron Angel. 

She holds a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in education. She also holds a project management certification through the United States Army Legal Center and School.

Dana credits her military background as well as her experience as a high school biology teacher with instilling within her the ability to analyze customer needs and translating them into effective solutions.
